HO! HO! HO! This quilt is gorgeous and perfect for snuggling under this holiday seaason!
The quilting process is long……full of highs and lows, but so worth it in the end when you finish the binding, step back and give yourself a virtual high-five for all your hard work…..it’s a great feeling!
Most quilts take 40-80+ hours. They are all made with love and even more swear words. Picking out fabrics, cutting and sewing all the pieces, cutting all those strings, quilting it, binding it, and cutting even more strings. But then, it’s done……and you feel so happy when your art is finally finished, but it’s even better to see someone snuggled up in it! 🙂
I used my Tilda fabric for this one and it turned out MARVELOUS! This one took me closer to 100 hours to complete but was well worth it. I had left over material and made 8 quilted stockings to match it. Usually I am not a fan of being all “matchy matchy” but this worked out quite well and they really compliment one anothers.
