Boo!

Simple and fun project wrapped up in a weekend. Time to snuggle up and watch some scary movies!

Autumn is finally here!

My favorite time of the year! Enjoyed making this one cute quilt.

Last colors of summer!

Well, I messed up one of the squares on this one, but I had already quilted it before I even noticed the mistake. Definitely makes this one unique. Minus the mistake I have come to terms with, the colors in the quilt are just gorgeous. So glad I made this one, mistake and all.

Minecraft – Another fun quilt completed!

This was a birthday present request for my daughter. She loved it. No pattern and guessed at the colors based on an image I found online.

Stash Buster! Practicing Freehand on the Quilter

Don’t pay any attention to the terrible quilting job or uneven corners. I was just practicing with the front of my quilting machine and learning the tools and was in a hurry to have something to play with. Normally I use the rear handles and a pantograph. I used an old sheet for the white areas instead of my quilting cotton (since I needed 780+ inches squares for example!) so it puckered quite a bit as expected. I do like the other colors and will probably make a “real one” soon.

This is another pattern that utilized 10 inch squares. I made my own from existing material I had purchased a while ago. I loved the quilt, but man did I stink up the free hand quilting on my long arm machine. I need LOTS for practice!
