Tulip Time!

Man did I struggle with the assembly of joker. Not because it was a difficult pattern but because my ADHD brain struggles with the assembly of diagonal rows. When I finally assembled the top, I was so proud of myself, until I realized I messed up one of the checkered patches. Luckily I had not quilted it yet and was able to correct it after a few bad words and some ripped stitches.

In the end it all worked out. I gifted this one to my boss and his wife.

NOTE: I bought the kit from Shabby Fabrics.

Gorgeous Quilt – Tradewinds Fabric

I used Tradewinds fabric for this gorgeous quilt. This quilt finished at 90 x 72 inches and can be used on a Twin or Full sized bed.

I have people inquire on this one often. My youngest daughter loves this one. I am sure I will make this one again in the future.

Happy Quilting, everyone!

Stash Buster – Prairie Tracks in Neutral Tones

I think I could make this pattern in any color-way and it would look amazing.

I wanted to use up some of my stash and had this left over material from years ago. This quilt turned out lovely. I did not use my Janome long arm quilter since it was hard down (long story for another day!), and instead I machine quilted with one of my dependable Singer sewing machines. This large throw made a perfect addition to our camper and is great to snuggle up under with a good book and a warm drink.

Happy Quilting, everyone!

Pretty in Pink!

This Sonnet quilt kit from ACraftyFox gives me all the feels of Valentine’s Day. My girls are not fans of pink, but this twin size quilt would be so adorable on littles one’s bed! The dark and light fabrics are well chosen and really compliment one another.

I wish I had bought another quilt kit for this color-way but super am happy I purchased this one.

Stella loves it too! (Pup approved!)

Happy Quilting, everyone!

Why Stop at Just One?

I am absolutely obsessed with these quilt kits from ACraftyFox.

This kit made the most gorgeous twin sized quilt. I gifted the quilt to my soon to be daughter-in-law at her bridal shower.

The light and dark fabrics are always perfect! These take some time to cut out and assemble, but the quilt top always looks beautiful.

Happy Quilting, everyone!
