Golden Sonnet Makes This Girl HAPPY!

It’s also approved by my pup, Stella!

One of my favorite quilts to make is a quilt kit from ACraftyFox called Golden Sonnet. This kit does not come pre-cut but takes less time to cut based on the easy to follow instructions in the pattern provided. I have made a few of her other quilt kits as well. I love the fabrics she chooses and the classic quilt that is the end result at the end of the hard work.

I absolutely planned to gift this one but decided to keep it for myself, and I am so glad I did!

Americana Beauty! Happy 4th, Y’all!

Red, White and Blue, BABY!!

This quilt sold almost as soon as I added the last stitch to the binding. And no wonder, it’s a beautiful Americana style pattern with complimentary colors that just scream Happy 4th!

I bought this pattern and material a very long time ago and just sat is aside for a rainy day. I absolutely enjoyed making this one. The instructions were clear and not full of mistakes like many patterns. I added a complimentary blue pin striped backing material from my stash in the shop.

I used a pantograph to quilt this one on my Janome Quilt Maker Pro 20 long arm machine. This would have looked fabulous hand quilted as well.

DONE. On to the next project……or two! Happy quilting, everyone!

Oops! I Did It Again!

This sweet little crib sized baby bubble is so precious!

Although I swore I would absolutely never make a bubble quilt again, here I am, back with another one! I learned a ton the hard way when I made the Full size quilt for my daughter in December 2024. I applied what I learned and it was much easier this time around. Of course, that could just be because this new one was crib sized and not a larger size so I wasn’t exhausted trying to wrangle that thing while sewing it. Either way, it turned out super cute, and it may even have convinced me to make the bigger bubble quilts again in the future.

I had a couple of left over charm packs that I used for this one. I am so bad about keeping up with the names of charm packs as I tend to buy what I like in the moment, but may not make anything with it for years. I can’t even recall when I bought these charm packs.

The colors of this quilt are perfect for a baby girl when mama doesn’t want everything to be pink all the time (it’s me, I’m that mama!). This quilt is crib sized, made of cotton quilted fabrics and can just be tossed in the washer on cold and the dryer on low heat.

Happy quilting, everyone!

Giving Me Summer Vibes!

This quilt just makes me happy! The colors are bright and eye catching. I winged the pattern and just did a basic pinwheel. It measures in at 72×90 inches. The backing is a gray pin striped material. I had the material left over from different projects and compiled into this awesome end result. Someone will love snuggling up under this one!

Stash Buster – Gorgeous Pattern and Colors

This quilt was made with left over material from another project. Always great to start a project and not have to by a darn thing! I even had a complimentary backing material as well. I love it when a plan comes together. This one is 90×104 inches and is good for Queen sized bed.

For now, this one will go into the “sell” pile that has been building up.

Happy Quilting, everyone!
