PeetiePie Donation to Books for Keeps
Craft Hope – Project 16 – The Little Warriors
Our good friend Darcy Childress put us in touch with an amazing charity, Craft Hope. PeetiePie was able to knit 25 beanies for children with cancer. It was really hard to not to cry each time I visited the site to check on the progress of this Craft Hope initiative – always so sad to read the stories of the little ones that lost their battle at such an early age. At the same time it was very inspirational to read the stories about the little ones that are beating the odds. We were very pleased to be able to donate our time, energy and products to such a wonderful organization – our hearts and thoughts go out to the families that this organization helps.

PeetiePie – Operation “Fleece Hats”
On February 23rd, PeetiePie, along with the help of one of our close friends, donated almost 40 new handmade fleece hats to a local Atlanta homeless charity, “My Sister’s House”. A very easy way to give back to the community and help those in need. My Sister’s House is a 264 bed facility that offers overnight shelter and residential programs for homeless women and children. Nicholas House – PeetiePie Feeds Homeless Families
On Tuesday, February 21st, PeetiePie donated meals to feed 50+ homeless family members at the Nicholas House in Atlanta, GA. The menu included BBQ chicken sandwiches (from Williamson Bro’s BBQ), mac-n-cheese, green beans, baked beans, slaw, mashed taters, tea, pink lemondade, cookies, brownies and cupcakes – YUMMY!
This was an excellent way for PeetiePie to give back to local community with money made from the purchase of our items.
The Nicholas House helps homeless families achieve self-sufficiency by providing a temporary place to live while identifying and addressing the root causes of their homelessness so they never become homeless again.
