Christmas 2015, that’s a Wrap!

Made so many of these little jokers this year. These are heading to Wild Oats and Billy Goats in Decatur, GA. Now, time to close the shop for a few weeks and spend time with the family.

Happy Sewing, everyone! And for those that celebrate, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Playing Santa again this year :)

We are so happy to have been able to help out Our House again this year. We donated 60 new toys and nearly 100 new clothing items. My youngest 2 of my own 5 kiddos helped deliver the goods on Wednesday night….they even donated all of their Melissa and Doug puzzles they have outgrown……so proud! love it!

Be sure to visit Our House to find out how you can help this great organiztion.

Our House—A leader in the community for the provision of services to homeless women and children.

Caring for homeless familiesWhy care about family homelessness?

On any given day, there are over 800 homeless children under the age of 6 in Atlanta with only two agencies serving them with nationally-accredited childcare programs. Family homelessness can not only strain a community’s resources but can also deny children the experiences they need for healthy development and for a solid academic future.

Supporting homeless families  Why support Our House?

Since 1987, Our House has delivered programs and services with measurable success. As a NAEYC accredited childcare center with funding partnerships with theUnited WayHead Start, and many prominent foundations such as The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, Our House has consistently produced positive results in helping homeless families make lasting improvements to their lives.
